Overstep - Alien Environments

I created a few environments for the Overstep game.
The interesting part here is the thumbnails.

The game was cool for me because it included crazy anomalies which gave it a USP. For me as artist it was a fun topic and I came up with lots of great enviros and anomalies... I also based some of it on the existing artworks from the team and created things on my own. There are videos of how I created different thumbnails with various techniques. People who listen to music on youtube might feel they know this image becase I used it as a reference and I made an alien version of it with some aliens and trees and some more weird shapes based which came from all kinds of sources plus artworks and assets from the Gamecan team.

I was quite disappointed wen I did not see anything about the awesome anomalies during their Kickstarter campaign.
